If you are one of those people who are constantly suffering form acid reflux, you should start paying close attention to what you eat to prevent stomach acidity. What Not To Eat According to studies, carbonated drinks, coffee and alcoholic beverages are some of the most common food. On the other hand, hot and spicy foods, tomato based products, chocolates; milk and milk based products could also cause some severe symptoms in many people. In fact, there are some people who have some really severe reaction to this food that they end up spending hundreds of dollars in medication. Although there are some studies that would tell us that these types of food are not really harmful to our body, it is best to take caution when drinking carbonated drinks, coffee and alcoholic beverages. To help you prevent stomach acidity, you should eat plenty of those anti food such as whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables and non-fatty foods. Fresh fruits are vegetables are very beneficial to the body and can help promote the alkalinity of the digestive system. Since alkaline fights off acidity, you will have lesser episodes of acid reflux.
